Pace Community Action Agency provides support services that improve the community and encourage self reliance, which has led us to hosting The Local Link-Up in Linton on June 7th from 10AM-2PM. The Local Link-Up is a link to community assistance that is available as a “one stop shop” of services to families and individuals who may be in need. At this event we are going to be offering information and “on the spot” services to anyone who attends. For example, our Health Insurance Navigators will be offering on the spot Health Insurance enrollment. We have also partnered with Shifting Gears out of Indianapolis and will have 25 no cost bikes to giveaway to adults in need of transportation options. We will also be providing a no cost lunch and giveaway baskets at The Local Link-Up.
